A new family tradition to go north to Greenville, Texas to Kadee Christmas Tree Farm. Our adventure started with driving under a canopy of trees where we parked with ease and immediately you can smell the fresh tree cut fragrance. We walked up to a country village that featured a barn, market place, fresh wreath making and snack stations.

So many happy smiling people ready to find their tree. There was lots to do for kids. There was a covered outdoor station with a variety of precut trees for purchase. On this plantation there were many photo opportunities. Under a cluster of trees was an outdoor play area where there was a giant lawn chair. A hay jumping station, a tree house, teepee, tic tak toe, swings, cow roping station and much more.

Ducks, dogs and farm cats were friendly. There was a barn to see chickens, rabbits, goats, pigs and horses. Past an old fire truck there was a kid maze and paths to cut down a tree. Our visit went very well that we decided to pick two trees to decorate for Christmas. One for the family room and the other for our kids.

It was nice to see people casually enjoy a snack around a fire pit, leisurely walking and hanging out on sitting areas.

At the front entrance my husband picked up the tree tag and hand saw. We trekked off the path to find our trees. It was a good experience for our kids and we were easily able to carry the trees out. There was multiple tree taxis if you preferred not to carry them all the way to the entrance.

The staff was super friendly and wrapped our trees for travel. Excellent customer service and they had multiple ways to pay for your purchase by debit/credit/venmo or cash.

We purchased both our two trees for a total of $130.00. As of Sunday, November 29, 2020 they had record breaking sales in the last few days in the Cut Your Own Tree Fields. So to sustain their Christmas Tree fields for their future they are now closed. However, they do have a large selection of precut trees from 5 to 12 feet available for purchase. Kadee is located at 5054 US-69, Greenville, TX 75402. Check their social media pages to confirm their hours of operation.
