Dallas’ Harwood District is one of those neighborhoods where dinner can easily turn into an entire evening. Within a walkable stretch near Uptown, you can start with brunch at a Parisian-inspired bistro, meet friends for cocktails, settle in for steak or rooftop dining, and even make time for art along the way.

I’ve spent time exploring several of these restaurants myself, and this guide brings together the Harwood District spots worth knowing—from breakfast and brunch to fine dining, casual stops and nightlife. I’ve also updated the list for 2026 to reflect recent restaurant closures and new openings on the way.
