My son Corban had a Valentine’s Day party at school. We had to take a quick trip to Wal-mart to pick up all the fun items that we needed from cards to cookie kits. Like a pack of hologram cards.
I had a bit of a panic, because I actually don’t know all of the classmate names. Fortunately, the teachers made it easy by encouraging us to label the cards with To: My Friend and From: Your Child’s name.
My husband volunteered us to provide a kit for the class to write messages on sugar cookies as an edible craft project for the class to do. We chose to buy the Message Cookie Kit and we also picked up some hologram cards for the Valentine exchange. The Toy Story 4 hologram cards were too cute and original. Corban couldn’t decide which one was his favorite.
After school, my mother-in-law offered to take Corban home for grandson time. Later, my daughters and I took the leftover sugar cookies from the kit and squeezed some frosting on them. There was 3 different colors that we topped each of them until it was almost dried. I helped them squeeze out the frosting from the tubes onto the cookies. Of course, they couldn’t wait to eat them!
