Four-Ingredient Mango Sorbet

Here’s a recipe that is great for those needing cool dessert for those on OMAD. Combine frozen mango cubes with maple syrup or agave and lemon juice and scoop with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients:

4 cups frozen mango chunks (16 ounces)

3 tablespoons pure maple or agave syrup

1 to 2 bananas (If you have large bananas then just use one.)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Directions:

Step 1

Place frozen mango chunks in a food processor or blender. Add half a cup of water. Add maple syrup, lemon juice, banana slices and add more water to help until it is well blended.

Step 2

After it has been processed scrap down the sides and pour into a resealable container and freeze until firm, at least 1 hour and up to 1 month.

Step 3

Let the frozen sorbet stand at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes. Warm an ice cream scoop under hot water and wipe dry to serve.

Step 4

For toppings add sliced strawberries, Pistachios, blackberries, pineapple chunks, melon  slices and/or a mix fruit combination. Also a nice treat to add is a gourmet cookie with a salty flavor, lemon and/or a white chocolate coconut cookie.
