Easy Kid Craft
Now that my son believes he is on an extended Spring Break we have been trying to incorporate some crafts for the kids to easily make. So we gave this a go by cutting strips of construction paper. Gluing the ends to make a ring. Followed by gluing the rings together to form the body. We cut a thin strip of another construction paper color and curled it with the scissors then glued it on for the antennas. Stuck on eyes for a little personality. Drew a little smile to complete the look.
On one caterpillar my son drew lines before we made the ring. So that’s another clever idea to decorate it too.
My kids were able to cut the strips with assistance. They glued the parts pretty good and sticking the eyes on were a big win. It’s the little things!
