Cheers To The One Year Anniversary Of Patriot Owned Businesses

At the Turkish Cafe Lounge the founder and host of the celebration Patriot Owned Business Tim Labatzky coordinated several speakers that shared encouragement and education to keep defending our American values. Labatzky acknowledged our military and first responders in attendance. One veteran Ruben Rodriguez who served 12 years drove in from San Antonio. All those who served received a special gift provided by POB sponsors.

Kyle Sims representing Don Huffines campaign who was unable to attend shared that while they are campaigning across the state to please remember to talk with friends, neighbors about the upcoming 2022 Primary Election which includes three candidates running against Governor Abbott. “Having three candidates to vote on is pulling votes away from Abbott. We do not need to attack people. We just need to put the facts out. He offered for anyone who wants to know more about Don’s platform to speak with him. He will share what his policies are as well as what he did as a State Senator.”

Robert West author of The Five Star Plan Replacing Politicians with Patriots is a native Texan, US Navy Veteran, an aviation electronics specialist, serves as a Republican Precinct Chair in Delta County, 2020 State Delegate and a Constitutional Conservative. He said, “You can support Greg Abbott or you can support a limited constitutional form of government. You can’t do both. One person writing the rules, one person enforcing the rules, one person telling a judge how to rule is not a republic form of government. If you look up the definition of tyrant it is a public official that claims power that they don’t legitimately have a legal right to. When I call Abbott a tyrant. It’s not that I don’t know english. It’s not that I am upset with that guy that I have never met –no that is the definition. Anybody that supports that man is not a Republican, but a monarchist.”

Charles Knight of Hartsville, Missouri dressed as Ben Franklin to share about The 57th Patriot. 56 patriots pledged their lives, their fortunes, their safety and sacred honor when they created the Declaration of Independence. Every one of them became traitors to their own country of England on the day they signed. If they were caught they would have been executed. Out of the 56, twelve of them were captured by the British. Several of them lost their fortunes. Including Benjamin Franklin. Everybody defines patriotism differently. Patriotism is a belief that we can do better than the way things are. We are willing to stand. I define it as willing to die for this document here, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. There was 56 signers. You too can be a signer and that is why we call our organization the 57th Patriot.”

It was wonderful to hear Mr. Knight read the Constitution and how it came about. “Everything you have, as far as life, liberty and pursuit of happiness is yours and yours alone. You can not have it taken away from you. The government can’t seize it. You can not give it away. It is the rights of nature’s God that you be free. Every man, woman and child is born free and they die free. What happens in between that life and death sometimes is servitude because we let the government run over us.”

Knight continued, “What is the government? If you review the Constitution and read the first few words it says, We the people. It defines what the government can and can not do. If you go over to European Union and read their document which is 72,000 words. Not 7,600 words like our Constitution. Their document starts with his majesty the king. And in their 72,000 words tells their people what they can and can not do. We declared independence with 26 grievances. Taxation without representation was number seventeen. Take the time to go through the grievances. Many of those grievances are happening right now. ‘Stand for something or fall for anything. Benjamin Franklin.'”

“There are so many people that are saying that the government said…,”Mr. Knight concluded, “The government does not always know what is right. More often than not the government is not right. Do what you want to do and do it the way that you want to do it. Stand on your own two feet. Stand for something. Or fall for anything. Learn from your history. Education begins at home. If you do not know your history you will be doomed to repeat it. Stand for what is right for this country.”

Joel Media cofounder of the Patriot Movement of Texas and Rowlett mayoral candidate opened how it led him to get involved in the community. Aaron Sorelis, who shared why he is running for Texas Lt. Governor. Shelly Luther shared her Courage To Stand testimony.
