Watercoloring with my daughter Vivi

First, I took a pencil to outline the letter “G”. Then I added a few flower buds along the ring with sprouts of leaves. I had Vivi follow my favorite brush along to paint each of the flowers and she suggested to paint the letter orange. We did the “G” on the right together. After we painted I added the pen to it. Later, I had Vivi take the brush and solo paint the left “G”. She remembered the colors we used on the first one. She is still learning how to be graceful with the brush and how the water moves. I added the ink to the “G” artwork too. For a 5 year old–it’s pretty darn good that she painted the watercolors stayed within close proximity of the areas!
