I recently had the pleasure of making a delightful Homemade Mocha Coffee recipe by Neli Howard from DeliciouslyHealthy.com. This simple yet indulgent treat has quickly become a favorite in my household, and I just had to share it with you all.

Ingredients for Homemade Mocha Coffee:

Instructions for Making Homemade Mocha Coffee:

First, in a small pot, combine the milk, cocoa powder, honey, and vanilla extract. Then, stir the mixture over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Next, pour the chocolate mixture into your favorite mug. Meanwhile, brew your coffee using a French press. Once the coffee is ready, pour it into the mug with the chocolate mixture. After that, stir well to combine. Finally, for an extra treat, top with a bit of whipped cream.

My Personal Mocha Moment

The other day, I visited Eggsquisite and ordered a latte. While it was delicious, I found myself craving a mocha instead. The next morning, as the weather turned cold and rainy, the thought of driving through traffic just to satisfy my mocha craving seemed daunting. Therefore, I started calculating the cost of gas versus the cost of a mocha and considered my personal well-being.

That’s when I remembered Neli Howard’s easy-to-follow Mocha Coffee recipe. Consequently, I decided to give it a try, and it made my morning. The rich, chocolaty flavor was exactly what I needed to warm up and lift my spirits on that dreary day. Additionally, topping it with whipped cream on my second attempt was the perfect finishing touch.

Thank you, Neli, for creating such a wonderful and simple recipe. It’s a comforting treat that’s now part of my morning routine.
