A monthly dining experience for readers who love good food and great conversation.

January marks the beginning of something new I’ve been quietly thinking about for a while—the Supper Club.

Think of it like a book club, but instead of discussing a book, we gather around a table for dining, connection and conversation. Each month, I’ll curate a short list of restaurants I’m excited about, invite a small group of readers to join me, and then share the experience here on my website as part of my ongoing City Guide coverage.

It’s casual, intentional, and centered around discovering places worth returning to.

January Supper Club Shortlist

To kick things off, I’m starting close to home with a few local favorites I’m considering for our first supper club dinner:

Onassis Greek Kitchen and Taphouse

Bin 303

Zanata

Each offers a different kind of dining experience, but all are great spots for conversation, entrees, and lingering a little longer than usual.

I’d love your input before making the final selection.

How to Participate

If you’re interested in joining the Supper Club, please let me know which restaurant excites you most by January 7, 2026. The form will collect your name, email, phone number and preferred restaurant choice.

Once responses are in, I’ll select the restaurant based on interest and availability and send out email invitations.

Responses are collected privately and used to help curate the final Supper Club selection.

UPDATE: Based on reader interest, the first Supper Club dinner will be held at Bin 303. Invitations are being sent by email.

What to Expect

To keep things simple and enjoyable for everyone, here are a few helpful guidelines:

• You’ll be responsible for paying for your own food and drinks

Casual attire—come comfortable and ready to enjoy the evening

• Photos may be taken during the dinner for use on adriennebalkum.com and social media

• Participants may be asked for brief feedback or quotes to be included in a future City Guide or Supper Club article

• Invitations will be emailed to subscribers with specific dinner details

• Seating is limited to a table of 6 and is first come, first served

• This is meant to feel relaxed—not rushed or overly structured.

After Dining

Following each supper club gathering, I’ll share a write-up here on the site. Covering the food, the atmosphere, what we ordered, and why the experience stood out. These Supper Club notes will become part of my broader City Guide content, offering readers an honest, experience-based look at places worth visiting.

If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, I’d love to have you at the table. Submit your pick, keep an eye on your inbox, and let’s start the year with a really good meal.
